How to use & FAQ
While your iPhone is locked, Health can't be read, so the numbers usually catch up the moment you open Farwalk. You can also pull down on the home screen, or use Settings → Health → “Sync with Health now”. If it still looks wrong, Settings → Walking together → Health check shows exactly what Health returns; you can send that report to us.
Farwalk never converts steps with a stride length. It uses the walking + running distance in Health as is, so the number matches the Health app.
From midnight of the day you start (or join) it, so everything you walked that day counts.
Real towns, country borders and seas that lie near your route, plus the halfway point. Open a journey to see the next one and how far it is. You get a notification when you pass one (if notifications are allowed).
Not yet. Both people need an iPhone signed in to iCloud. Sharing uses your iCloud, not our server, and no account is needed.
Copy the link, then go to Settings → Walking together → “Join with an invite link” and paste it. Settings → Sharing check shows where it stopped.
Open the journey and scroll to the bottom → “Delete this journey”. If it's shared, the other person keeps their copy.
Purchases come back with Settings → Plans → “Restore Purchases”. Journeys are kept on your iPhone, so they move with an iPhone backup or transfer.
Only once, if you choose to set your starting point from where you are. Your location is never uploaded.
Still stuck? Use Settings → Help → “Contact / report a problem” in the app (the app version and iPhone model are filled in for you), or email minariapps@gmail.com.
